Here we GlasGOW (sorry not sorry)
Join Bi+ Lines' Scottish leg on 10 & 12 April
Dear bi+ poetry fans,
I hope you are well and finding something from spring. I’m writing from the fine city of Norwich, where I am working this weekend with a different hat on (running events for the Poetry Translation Centre - come along if you fancy!).
Now, Scotland, it’s the news you’ve all been waiting for - we’re coming to Edinburgh on 10 April and Glasgow on 12 April to launch Bi+ Lines! I can’t wait to see you there. More information and booking links below, and don’t forget the launch in Edinburgh will be livestreamed for free.
Let’s Glasgoooooo

On Friday 12 April we’ll be at Glasgow’s wonderful LGBTQ+ bookshop Category Is Books, launching Bi+ Lines with contributors Nasim Rebecca Asl and Beth Harrison. Nasim also ran our workshop in Glasgow nearly exactly a year ago, all about code-switching and languages, though her poem in the book is a poignant shape poem about loss. Beth’s poem in Bi+ Lines on the other hand is a perfectly held poem about a toothbrush - just what Sylvia Plath said she could never write about.
There will also be space for a bi+ open mic, so please come along and share your work!
Tickets are pay as you feel as usual - find more information and grab your ticket below. They’re going fast!
Come to the Lighthouse!

This isn’t new-news but a reminder: we’ll be at Edinburgh’s radical Lighthouse Books on Wednesday 10 April, with contributors Len Lukowski and Ilisha Thiru Purcell.
Don’t forget that this launch will also be livestreamed for free - and it may well be the last chance you get to see a Bi+ Lines launch online. So don’t miss out!
Finally, we’re working behind the scenes on the final launch of the project in Manchester - news coming very soon on that but it’s planned for May.
Sending you all the best and queerest vibes into your weekend,
Helen
